I like this place, the decor is nice, the food is...

I like this place, the decor is nice, the food is pretty good and there's a nice variety in the menu. Service was more prompt than usual but they brought the appetizer right on top of the entrees -- a no no! My entree was quite good, but they only gave me asparagus stalks and no tips -- 'sup wit DAT!? Anyway, I'll be back. Lov ethe spring rolls.

My favourite restaurant for Viet-Thai. The food is always fresh and hot. The service is sometimes a little spotty and don't be picky about all of the food coming out at the same time because that rarely happens. But definitely good value. Will be coming back again.

I regularly recommend this restaurant, which seems to serve a bit of a mix between Thai, Vietnamese and maybe Chinese. Mostly Thai though. Food was, as usual, very fresh and tasty. Service was, as usual, spotty but adequate. Nice atmosphere & decor. I'll return.

Was very looking forward to the #1 Ranked...

Was very looking forward to the #1 Ranked Restaurant in Guelph. What we found was far from it. Calamari was chewy. Thia Pad was very good. Not greatest ever. Chicken was ok and service was certainly above average. For an ethnic food spot, it is decent. Not a destination on less your looking for this specific type of food. For that, I am not sure, perhaps it is the cities best. But overall, average food, above average service.

I have been to Ben Than many times and love it...

I have been to Ben Than many times and love it. It has a nice atmosphere, something many Guelph restaurants lack. The food is always good, although, I don't think I will order the Pad Thai again its a little too westernized for me. My husband loves the Pho and I especially love the mango salad and the lemongrass chicken vermicelli. The service is always good and quick and most importantly you don't have to spend a fortune to have a great meal. I will be returning again and again to what has turned out to be one of my favourite restaurants in Guelph.
