This place is absolutely amazing. Everyone claiming this food is "out of a can" or "greasy" is out of their mind and definitely a snooty person who eats nothing but fois gras, caviar and other overpriced foods that lack any decent taste.
The food is great. Plain and simple. The rose or "blush" sauce is totally worth a 10 minute wait and as others have said, the portions are great. Everyone giving this place a 1 or 2 is clearly used to a 2x2cm piece of meat that costs $50 and cant handle a decent portioned meal.
The place is usually busy and that should say enough on its own. The staff are young and in a hurry, but they have never been rude to us.
I've been going to this restaraunt for 6 or 7 years and have never had any stomach pains or indigestion after their meals. Those complaining about having upset stomachs must be 150 years old or recently released from a hospital and/or nuthouse.
Try this place, enjoy the food and ignore all these negative reviews unless of course you enjoy a $350 meal consisting of 1.5 grams of caviar, a $100 glass of wine and a microscopic fillet of fois gras.
Great date place! we visit at least once a month and for every special occasion we celebrate here! It has great food and a great atmosphere! i definetly recomend mamma martino's to everyone!
I never understand why people line-up for restaurants - however, at this place there always seems to be one during prime evenings. We go every now and then for an inexpensive, fill-your-belly type meal, accompanied with a simple house wine. This is all you get and this is all you should expect at this place ... nothing more. The young staff do need to get trained better on at least pretending to get the concept that the reason you are there is to provide them with an income. Other than that is just a simple neighborhood place for some cheap, good grub.

The food was amazing. the atmosphere of the place was very cute and cozy. The waitress could have been a little more friendly but overall it was fantastic. The portions were huge but the prices were small! great for families or corporate, and absolutely perfect for a date.
