My husband and I got one of Marg’s cakes for our wedding and the icing was my absolute favourite part! I loved that she was able to use real flowers that matched our colour scheme and include our homemade topper. She is super quick at replying to emails and is super accommodating for any wants/needs. Amazing bakery! You know it's a good sign when there's a long lineup, and we were not disappointed! Great Chelsey buns, and although the Grey Potato sounds weird, our kids loved it. Will be back for sure!

Amazing food, cozy atmosphere, we meet regularly with friends and family in groups of 4-8. We love it! Try their sandwiches freshly made, breakfast (generous on the bacon!), coffees and OF COURSE the custard tarts. Best bakery in Durham, hands down! Your community supports you! See you the afternoon!

Recently ordered a strawberry shortcake, a sandwich tray, and a cheese tray. Everything was amazing! The cake was so delicious...moist, light, and super fresh! Best I have had in a very long time. Sandwiches were unique and very flavourful. It was a pleasure working with Sue. During this restrictive pandemic period, she ensured a safe pick up process.

I have used Frantastic Events on numerous occasions for my kids birthdays as Fran's cakes are amazing and totally nut free and gluten free if you need it. I also hired Fran to do my wife's 30th birthday party in terms of catering and the food was absolutely amazing and every guest commented on the quality of the food and the value for money was also top drawer! I would recommend Frantastic Events for any catering or birthday need!
