I had a drive belt issue on the freeway and was overheating. I got off and looked for the nearest auto service. I saw this Mr Lube, and wasn't certain they'd be able to help, but I was desperate, so in I went. I received top quality service, with no appointment, no waiting, they had the belt I needed in stock, and within 45 minutes I was back on the road. Pretty rare in this day and age. Today I awoke to find that I had a flat tire. After using a portable compressor to fill tire w/ air I went to the my local kal Tire store. I asked if they could repair my tire and ther repair was completed in 1/2 hour. Thanks to Natasha @ front desk and Balal who repaired my flat. Both were very courteous and efficient. I drove from Auburn Bay because of the customer service. They make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. This was my first time there and I will definitely drive the 1/2 hour again .The prices are very reasonable too .Thanks to all of you for making my day .Lire plus
It has been a long time since I've had an oil change experience worth writing home about. I was beginning to think that I would have to change my own oil just to avoid being haggled and insulted as I had been at the last few places I tried. Not once was I lectured about coming in more often or told I don't take care of my car as usual (I'm not negligent - most lube shops use it to instill fear and have you pay more money.)
Paul seems like a manager-type person who was the man I spoke with the whole time I was there. If there was such thing as a 'carside' manner, he got it right on the money. He was extremely polite and even asked permission to put air in my tires like I was some kind of heiress. I am used to other places either not asking to add air or forgetting to even check them. A lot of places only do it 'by request' - but when they don't communicate with you, how are you supposed to request it? So this place was quite amazing. They showed me my transmission fluid colour to assure me it's in perfect condition. Basically, I would go back there strictly for the customer service, but their prices are reasonable too. I would say they are like any other place but you actually get what you pay for.
The owner's name is 'Al' but I never met him. Maybe he will be in on a weekday. I have a $10 off coupon for next time if I take the middle package so that's another incentive to return. I am glad I don't have to figure out how to change my own oil because it isn't easy when you lack the tools needed.
They have a coupon right now on he back of Safeway receipts for $8 off. I wish I had known, but it was still worth it.

Doug was amazing. He talked with me a lot. Let me know what I needed for my car without being pushy. They got my oil change done quickly and then helped me when my battery died. He gave me actual advice for things my car needed with a realistic timeline without trying to get me to spend hundreds of dollars right away. I will be coming back to this location for all my oil changes and any other service they offer! Just amazing service.Lire plus
These guys are great at the service they provide. One problem is they are busy, so you have to get there early if you need same day service for tire change.
