How service makes or breaks a great business

We love pizza and decided to order from Pizzeria St-Luc because we had heard great things. We are bilingual so ordering was a cinch (even though they do talk very fast) and we pre-paid over the phone. After 1.5 hours waiting for our pizza delivery, I called the Pizzeria to see if they had forgotten about us. The girl on the phone quickly informed me they were very busy so it was going to take longer than usual (would have been nice to know when we placed the order at 6pm on a Friday night). After 2 hours waiting, I called again to make sure they actually had our order and address. The girl on the phone once again assured me they did and it was on its way. The delivery person had apparently left 15 minutes earlier. After 3 hours waiting we gave up and went to Subway. My husband stopped into the restaurant to get reimbursed for our "purchase" the same night. He was surprised to see the establishment being run by teenagers with no adult in sight. They didn't even know how to reimburse a credit card and had to give us cash back instead. They had never even made our order...really? And then asked if we wanted to reorder. Yeah, no. We will never order from them again.
