As a group of four, we visited this restaurant. It has been there for a long time, was always empty never tried until lately. Actually, the Indian restaurant I usually go was closed during these particular days. I highly recommended/forced Indian Food to my friends and was regretful and disappointed. I found the real reason why it was always empty, food served is not good. I enjoy Indian food; I thought lets give it a try. I have been to many Indian Restaurants in Toronto and US cities. I can say that I never been as disappointed at any other Indian Restaurant in my entire life as it was at House of India!! Food was absolutely horrible!! Although server tried to be friendly, served food tasted like was cooked a week back, very old food without any flavor. I'll never visit House of India again and will not recommend.

Amazing place to go! We came in while they were busy on a friday night without reservations and they quickly accomodated us. Great friendly service, and the waiter there at the time made our stay very pleasent. I like the fact that even though it was very busy, he still had time to chat with us and find out a little about us and always check up on us to see if everything was good. I must say that everything was OUTSTANDING! Definitely will go there again since i have not been this happy with a restaurant in a very long time! If you have never had indian food before, this is the place to try it out!!!

amazing food, some of the best indian food i have ever had, and easily the best indian restaurant in windsor! staff is very cuteous and helpful overall fantastic service. Highly recommend you try this place.
We are die-hard Indian cuisine eaters. This is the best Indian food in windsor, the staff is fantastic and the atmosphere is very nice. We have been many times and we will continue to go back again and again. We are vegetarians and there are many delicious veg entrees and appetizers.
Great restaurant! Extremely well served. I was very happy with the food here as well as the service. Great environment and a nice friendly atmosphere. I first ate Indian food at this restaurant four months ago, and ever since then I have visited about twice a month. Great food! Everyone should experience this at least once in their life!
