We had a large group of both adults & kids dining--everyone was so well taken care of. The service was just stellar!
The stuffed chicken was amazing--rich & flavourful. The dessert was too large to finish alone & also very rich (but not overly sweet).
Party of 3. The food was amazing! Delicious pasta, sauce is wonderful, tasty yet light and refreshing. The basilicata entre was wonderful. The creme brule was ok, nothing to rave about. The banana toffee cake was dense, moist,flavourful, yet not overly sweet which was a nice surprise. The food was very good and the prices are reasonable. The service however, was atrocious! From the hostess at the door, to the server, to the person taking the payment, all were rude, brisk and forgetful. Our server was much more interested in visitng with her two girlfriends at the bar and snacking on their dessert, then making sure we had our orders taken or delivered. We received our bill prior to coffee and dessert. The server never came back to our table to check if our meals were ok, if we wanted more drinks, refill of coffee or anything else. The next time we visit Sudbury, we would have to decide if the quality of the food out weighs the poor quality of service. The lack of friendliness and service made what should have been an enjoyable dining experience, a disappointment.
I was in town on business and tried another restaurant down the street the night before and was very disappointed. I had walked by Ripe and didn't know what to make of it so I ate there the next day. Great food and service. The steak was perfectly done and the creme brulee is to die for!

We go often but this I was entertaining business associates and everything was great again. Drinks were quick even though the place was packed. The owner is always present and very hands-on and you can tell very helpful to his staff. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time for a large group. Great overall experience!!!
Lunch is quite good too. Great place for a quick business luncheon. Keep up the good work guys.
