Thanks Kwik N Ready to you and your team for a job well done! We needed to move household items from Toronto to Port Elgin; and prior to the move, help was needed to move items out of our PE home. From our first phone call to Kwik N Ready to finalizing payment, all staff were professional, pleasant and knew exactly what they were doing. During both moves, none of our items were damaged, nor were any walls marked (which was surprising given the narrow staircase…). True pros!
AVOID this company at all costs ! I had booked my move this morning 3 weeks ago and 2 hours before the move they left a voice mail saying they are not showing up because two of their guys went in the ditch last night. Why didnt they call me lat night? The lady sounded like she just woke up. What a nightmare ! Now I have to scramble to find other movers on such short notice. I called two other movers and both told me they are not surprised with Kwik and Ready since they have done this in the past
Charged double the quote (and did not provide a written quote), flat out lied about fees, were incredibly slow, damaged the furniture and walls of my mom's new apartment, put half the boxes designated for the storage unit into the apartment and vice versa (and charged $700 just to go to the storage unit, which was not mentioned in the quote OR updated quote), then threatened legal action when we complained. This "business" took advantage of my mom and set her back significantly financially.
Fantastic work. I am single Mom with 2 young kids, I was supposed to have my friends help me move but they backed out on me and I needed help. I called Kwik N Ready Movers and they were able to help me out. They showed up on time and the guys that came to move me were friendly and made the move go smoothly. They took apart the beds and put them back together again in our new place. I couldn't be happier with how the move went and I would recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks, Linda
The business is professional. Always prompt with phone calls and call backs, Workers are polite, courteous, and reliable. Can't ask for a better service.
I am on disability and I called Quick N Ready Movers to get a quote to move me to my new place. They worked with Bruce Housing to get my move done quickly and a little cost to me. They were great and I would go with them again. Thanks guys.
I called Wesley's company after the one I hired never showed up for the move, which I had booked with them a month in advance. Wesley was already on another move that day but told me that his crew would show up after their current move to help me out. I was very grateful for his help. Around 3 his crew showed up to move me and my son's items to our new home. His crew were very nice and got me all moved that day. I don't know what I would've done if they weren't there to help me out.
I was very impressed with the work that Weslee and his crew did. My family and I have a lot of items and I did not think that they were all going to fit it in the truck but they managed to do so without breaking anything. They were very helpful taking apart our beds and putting them back together at our new home. It was very nice to see them taking good care of my families belongings and making sure we were happy. I would recommend them to my family and friends. Thanks for a great job.
Wesley - arrived late, we already had items moved out of unit, took first break (cigarette) after only 15 minutes, and it lasted at least 20 minutes and I had to remind them they were being paid hourly, to which the response was "you have unique items", boxes and bins, unique I don't know, we tried to speed it up by helping with the loading to which Wesley had issues with. Then they left 20 minutes before us and arrived 10 minutes after us at destination. We helped with the unload, which was not appreciated, to which Wesley was heard say, " I am going to unload slowly", again he was on an hourly rate. At least 1 item was damaged when one of the movers dropped it, caught again, but broke it and did not mention it. Added to this was the attitude of the assisting paid mover, he constantly complained about having to move items up and down them stairs. The overall attitude was very condescending, they would speak to us friendly and understanding, but then make comments when they thought we couldn't hear - ie - we're unpacking slowly. Also, items marked for bathroom were left on the main floor instead of being carried up to the bathroom.
I used this company to move my family to a new town. They were on time, very responsible with our furniture and boxes. The price was all inclusive and very reasonable. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to move in the Ontario region. If I was to move again I would be calling this company back.
