**** Food & Service is Completely Horrible...

**** Food & Service is Completely Horrible **** Walked in, first thing waiter tried to do is push the "All you can eat Taco Bar" on me, then asked me if I wanted a bottle of tequila with a straw for a drink. Ordered the Blackened Chicken ($13.99 entree)with a coke. Waiter brought coke, it was semi-flat and watered down. Waited for about 30-45 mins for my food (I was one of 3 people in the restaurant, the other 2 people were just drinking beer and didn't order food). The food finally came. On the plate I paid 13.99 for, was 4 small chicken tenders (same kind as they make chicken fingers out of) barely dusted with cheap black pepper and probably cayenne pepper (the greasy outside of it was mostly red). The only other thing on the plate was Dried out microwaved mexican rice that looked and tasted like it came prepackaged bulk, and some parsley and an orange slice. I cut into the chicken, and the outside was hard and greasy(not blackened at all, not even grilled)and the inside was almost undercooked. It was quite obvious that they microwaved it for a few mins to dethaw it, then rolled it around whatever and threw it in a frying pan for a few mins. There wasn't even grill marks on them, and you could barely even see any spices aside from small amounts of the cheap powdered black pepper and cayenne. The waiter didn't even bother to come to ask me how my food was, and instead spent the time behind the bar bickering with what seemed to be the owner/manager over missing tip money or something. I was hungry, so I literally choked it down. After finishing, I waited for the waiter to come to my table, instead he was flirting with a waitress half his age and ignoring me. Finally, I went up to the bar and had to ask for my cheque, and the waiter had the nerve to ask me if I wanted change (Asking me for a tip). I've been to very poor areas of Mexico, and eaten in the local restaurants, and let me tell you, the food and service in the slums of Mexico city is 10x better than at Under the Volcano.
