After searching on this website for a restaurant for my husband's birthday - I was a little relucant to visit this restaurant but all my friends had nothing but great things to say. So I made reservations and we were shown to our table by the owner (I found out later). We were greeted with humilty and the place was packed. Our server who was knowledgeable introduced herself but I forget her name but she brought over water and enquired if we would like to start with cocoktails while we were looking over the menu. The cocktail selections were great - my girlfriend and I had martinis will the boys had beer...
When she returned we had no idea what to order even though we had been to Indian restaurants in TO. She suggested maybe for a tasting menu which they would consider types of food we felt like eating and allergies - we went for it. The owner showed up at this point and conferred with us.
We had five courses but of course smaller portions and we were looked after as though our server only had our table to look after but we could see her running around.
The wine we chose to accompany our meal was very resonably priced especially as they did not even double the cost of the wine (I bought a bottle at the LCBO).
ALL I CAN SAY IS KEEP IT COMING - I AM HOPING TO BE BACK VERY SOON FOR MORE LAMB!!!!
