Greatest fish and chips I have ever ate. The service was friendly and quick. I suggest if you want fish and chips to go here and get the Hailbut and chips and celery bread .

I think Big Bens is by far the best fish and chip spot in brantford at the moment. There chips are always fresh and cooked to perfection. The fish is always battered in the freshest and tastiest homemade beer batter. The service is always quick and welcomming. Big Bens also has great big breakfasts that leave you full all day. In the price range deparment I think they are acceptable. If you go anywhere where the prices are too low that means your not getting high quaitly food. And one last thing I should mention all of there staff has acheived the health and saftey certificate.
We recently moved into the area & have been frequenting Big Bens on a regular basis. The staff are friendly & welcoming. The food is Fabulous, portions are Generous & their daily specials are extremely well priced. They serve fresh cut chips & beer battered fish wrapped in news print ~ authentic to their British theme. The best fish & chips “this side of the pond”! They also serve a great breakfast with lots of variety. It is small, but they are in the process of expanding.
One of the better brunches we have had in the area, and very inexpensive. A good cup of coffee. They are planning to expand, so much needed seating space may be coming.
