Fast and efficient service for such a busy place!

Went in for a booked AC service. They charged a full load of refrigerant and send me off. Then called back and told me the system was not charged because of a leak. They also told they were not able to find the leak. An hour later I got a quote to replace the AC compressor, evaporator for 2940 dollar on top of the already paid recharge of 500+. Next week I went to another store, they checked twice found no leak and were able to just charge the system. So quite the ripoff.

Be very careful about what the mechanic tells you. He tried to rip us off on a ball joint replacement. Quoted a price of at least 700 to 1200. I called speedyauto in Calgary they gave a quote from 400 to 600. When told about fountains quote, the guy choked on his coffee and said "700 bucks when it's a 65 dollar part and 2 hrs of work?"
