Even a snowstorm doesn't keep Toronto diners down, as we discovered last weekend at Jump in January. It was quieter than usual due to the weather, but our food was very good. We had an extremely affable waiter from England. The service started out a bit slow, with water poured and wine ordered but 25 minutes before some bread arrived. If we hadn't been so hungry beforehand we might not have noticed. Otherwise, the food was excellent. The Bacon-Wrapped Boneless Quail appetizer was absolutely delicious. The Wild & Tame Mushroom Soup was good, but as we told our server, it needed some cream to give it more depth and round out the taste. The Mahogany-Glazed Black Cod with Lentils was very good, and my partner had the delicious Beef Tenderloin. We'll come back again, but the pacing is a bit slow, so you can't be in a hurry if you're dining here. Lire plus

Wow! Spring China House knocked it out of the park! - I wasn’t quite prepared so I had to make a few phone calls —- and what amazing follow up by their team and specifically by Bill. it was awesome the food was great and the waiter was very attentive and the atmosphere was great. They had a DJ and there was people dancing and me and my wife felt very good being there. i would visit again and even though expensive the food was awesome. Lire plus

The food is amazing, portions are very generous, good selection of wines, service is excellent, price is affordable and the whole ambience is very warm and friendly.
