Stong's is another example of what a grocery store should be. Mostly food, lots of quality produce and fresh bakery and butcher selection and great service. I gather at one time there were several of these stores in the Lower Mainland and this store is the last of their kind. Thank goodness. A great place to buy all kinds of staples and also some hard to find items that aren't carried at major chains. Stong's is what the neighbourhood supermarket should be and their constant stream of customers is a testament to the quality and excellent customer service on offer. Lire plus

Galloways feels like home, a place I trust has only health-giving products and all are at a reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff help to speed up the shopping. I may need only 2 items when I arrive, but when I leave I can hardly carry the bags! Lire plus
