People shouldn't write a review if all they can stomach is rolled sushi. Hi Nicole, you didn't enjoy your California Roll? I'm sorry to hear that, but anybody who really likes sushi doesn't enjoy theirs either, no matter where it's made. If you're going to rate a restaurant based on their sushi then don't order maki, especially one's made with crab and avocado. My unagi was undercooked, but as a lover of all seafood, and especially unagi sauce, this didn't bother me so much. My (Japanese) Wife's Katsu Don had a bit too much fat to her liking, but what she didn't finish I did. The miso soup was a bit sweeter than what I'm used to, but the salad was delicious. The large sashimi boat was excellent. I was expecting to get the dried out, end of the night fish that every other restaurant seems to serve an hour before closing. I received fresh salmon, tuna, yellowtail, snapper, squid, crab, octopus, and more. If you like sushi and sashimi, eat this restaurant's. If you're looking for something a little more cooked then try this restaurant's, too. To each their own - I'd say try it, but if you don't like it that time then go elsewhere next time.
