This is the one true California Sandwiches. Always friendly service and a sandwich to fill your appetite. I recommend anything on the menu. I personally like to switch it up, but my favourite is chicken with medium (in house made made hot pepper sauce).

First off, let's leave the religion out of this. This place has teh best sandwiches. i usually get one extra hot steak & one extra hot chicken. that seems to fill me up for the whole day & I don't need to have dinner afterwards. I've ging to Cali sandwiches for over 20 years & it has remained consitant since I can remember. Nothing here tastes processed or manufactured. if i have any issues it would be that the sandwiches are not as hot as they used to be. I'm not sure why that is but other than that great place!

Best Veal Sandwiches!

We love a hole in the wall with amazing food! Discovered this place years ago - tucked away on a residential street and always busy! Line always includes locals, out of towners, paramedics, firemen you name it. Fortunately they now have multiple locations and we can go to the closest one. We can rarely pass by one and not stop they are so good! I am a big Sweet Veal with Cheese fan, but people seem to love the hot peppers and mushroom too. Also great meatball and steak sandwiches but I love the veal. Enjoy.
