Walking into Pretty in Pink Spa Studio is like stepping into a candy store for wellness. The fresh white interior, accented in pink hues, showcases beautifully packaged natural body care products – abundant enough, it would seem, to suit every taste. The glass-encased counter is reminiscent of a bake shop, showing off a selection of delectable products for the holistic-minded visitor. A doorway leads to a bright open room for pedicures and manicures where the main wall is adorned with inspiring quotes about inner beauty, confidence and empowerment. Clearly, this spa is not just about making pretty.
“It’s our goal to ensure every woman and girl has a positive experience and leaves the spa feeling happy and confident,” explains Sonia Imerti, the spa's owner. She conceived of the idea years ago after an unsavoury trip to a spa with her daughter, who was five at the time. Their sour experience inspired Sonia to open a place where girls of all ages could enjoy a little pampering in a welcoming and child-friendly environment.
While researching the concept, she visited numerous spas across the United States until her daughter complained that she simply wasn’t having any fun getting treatments alone. It was another aha! moment that led to the idea of a mother-daughter spa for multiple generations to enjoy luxurious spa treatments.
