Tas Technicians are very friendly and Professional. But that alone won’t get the job done. They lack the skills or talent, don’t know. They were at my place to fix the Fridge, not on one occasion but 3 different times. However, with all the visits they were not able to find the problem. Later they filed the report to Whirlpool that Appliance is functional its just makes noise which is normal. I can’t get it. They told us. We have never seen such specific problem until now, and we strongly recomm
I dont usually post reviews but this company is so bad, i had to warn people. I called TAS to fix my dishwasher. Almost $500 later, and i still dont have a functioning dishwasher. Replaced a part and as soon as he left, it didnt work (same problem and same error code so he replaced it for nothing). Said it might be another issue but i didnt want to pay again if he wasnt sure. Also overcharged me (quoted $120 for labour but paid $160). Company didnt care. Left messages for manager, but no reply.
This is a very unprofessional company. Their focus is on getting paid and not the service being provided. No quote was provided but they asked the homeowner to pay up front. The reason being they overcharged the service call and brought a trainee with the technician and charged for 2 technicians at a full hourly rate.
Thank you to Toronto Appliances Service for their extremely professional and prompt services. My refrigerator suddenly stopped operating, and I called Toronto Appliances Service asking for a repair consultation. Not only was my request last minute, it was also during the Easter long weekend and in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite this, Toronto Appliances Service still arrived very quickly and provided professional, friendly, knowledgeable and honest service. Thank you!
We paid to have a new part ordered. I had to pay two technicians to lift the machine (something I could have done easily). Upon finishing the installation, I asked him to run it and he shrugged and left. The issue was not fixed. The third technician claimed the issue was fixed and blamed us for not using the machine correctly. TAS takes zero ownership for their workers inferior service and tell you to call an appliance company which is not the problem. Its a vicious circle. Do not use them.
Do not use this company...I waited for a part for two months and was given a new date each time with the excuse that the part was was coming from Europe. After 6 follow up calls asking where the part was, and again given a new date, I insisted they call and get a firm date. They called and said the part was discontinued leaving me with no functioning oven and two wasted months. To make matters worse, they didnt refund the service call despite not being able to fix my oven and wasting my time

We are sorry that you are disappointed that one of the parts is not longer available (NLA) and we could not completely repair your oven. We came to diagnose it with passion that we could repair it on the spot, unfortunately parts dealer only informed us weeks later that they could not provide bake element anymore and we were very happy to refund deposit for parts we charged. We charged service diagnoses fee upon mutual agreement made before coming to your house.
The technician was a terrific guy. Our Whirlpool washing machine was broken, the code was F-06, the brushes had diminished - we will have to buy a new machine. He was efficient and he was professional, clean, and quick. Interesting thing for Whirlpool is that because it appears that the cost to fix it is so high that we may as well buy a new machine, we wont be buying Whirlpool. Ever again. Great technician - but obviously not supported by sales.
The service technician was dynamite! Although this appliance was under Lowes extended warranty the first 2 techs Whirlpool sent on 2 occasions were not listening to my concerns and basically did not properly diagnose the problem. Kudos to TAS technician, he is the best, dishwasher is running like a charm, hope it stays that way!
We had a problem with our washer and were referred to Toronto Appliance Service. The guy was super nice. He knew what he was talking about and our washer works just fine now. Thanks and we would recommend them to anyone.
Gladly writing a truthful review for TAS. As a business owner, I understand the challenges when dealing with reviews good and bad and how we cannot control who writes what. Everyone is entitled to his opinion so here is mine. My experience with TAS was very positive. The tech was experienced, professional and cleaned up after he finished. I have no complaints and I would recommend TAS to all my family and friends without hesitation.
We would use TAS again. We called around and the price was clear as opposed to other companies who would not give a straight answer as to the pricing.
Fridge stopped working. TAS came the next day and fixed it within the hour. Very happy with the service received. Fast and efficient. Would use them again for sure.
Whirlpool fridge broke down in mid Aug this year. Called TAS and they were able to come within a day. Unfortunately I had to move all my food to my neighbors fridge, but it's not the fault of TAS. Luckily, they had the part in stock and were able to fix it within the week. Their prices seem fair, and the service warranty is good if the problem wasn't fixed initially. I've dealt with other appliance tech companies, and by far the technician that came from TAS was very friendly. Total $600.
It took them 2 1/2 weeks to get oven parts from KitchenAid in the US only to find they weren't needed because the problem was misdiagnosed. Apparently they don't stock basic parts for major appliance brands. Now we're waiting for another part and our oven is still useless. So is this company. We were referred to them by the appliance vendor, Canadian Appliance Source. CAS needs to find a new repair company or read these people the riot act.
Thank you Toronto Appliance Service for repairing my dishwasher before a big party and avoiding my having undue stress before it. Serviceman was on time, competent and left the area clean. He also advised me about how to run the dishwasher efficiently. Will recommend Toronto Appliance Service to my friends.
