My Stylist of choice in London. They are wonderful.
I sympathize with the former poster, however my experience at CUTZ, which took place just yesterday, was the polar opposite. I was treated courteously and kindly, my colour process was pleasant with the results being nothing short of DIVINE (!), and I would definitely (and heartily) recommend this salon to anyone of any age or occupation. This is a special group of people, dedicated to making the client's experience one to remember and want to repeat. Great folks, great service. I'll be back!
I first called asking about prices for cut and colour (full head). I was told between 60-90$ depending on the stylist. So i asked to be booked with someone who would only charge me 60. I asked for 2 very simple things in my hair. 2 blonde peekaboo streaks and the rest dark brown, simple right? well i guess not. i saw her putting blonde on the top of my head!!! so i asked her what she was doing and she said 'well i thought you would like this'.. UMM NO.. i didn't ask for that. SO then she had to work backwards and remove her unwanted mistake. adding another hour to the process. Once everything was done i noticed that you could NOT see any blonde peekaboo streaks! .. instead she had hidden the blonde streaks in my hair. when i questioned her about it she said, 'well when you curl your hair it will look really nice'!!!! i normally wear my hair straight!! by this point i was extremely upset and disappointed with the service i was given. Feeling relieved that I at least would only be paying 60$ for this mess. NO, she tells me. 'that'll be 90 dollars please'.. I told her how I had called the day before and was told 60$. she then told me that 60$ for cut and colour was just a promotion that ended a long time ago. SO by this point it was extremely obvious how angry I was with everything that happened. You would think she would offer a discount or a complimentary hair styling to fix her mistakes? but no. I was expected to pay the full 90$.. i certainly did not leave a tip. ALSO, they advertise mani and pedis. When i was there I inquired about getting both and was told that the specialist wasn't in but that they could fit me in for a mani in 3 days and the pedi in a week. I would not recommend going to Cutzr. The stylists do not listen to what the customers want. Worst experience at a hair salon. EVER
