Worst camp ground Ive ever been in. Owners are rude and drunk a good portion of the time and seem to take a lot of money out of the park but never put any back in.
Owners are rude and stuck up!Vulgar and maybe Violent towards Campers. Not what it once was!!!
This trailer resort feels like a beautiful getaway with the scenic lake setting, islands, and friendly lake residents. No big commute or traffic to deal with. Only 5 mins from anything you need from the growing city of Cambridge. No complaints about the reasonable annual rates / fees either. You can choose a lot with plenty of sunshine or a quiet laneway with mature trees and large backyards. There are 3 different large grassy areas for families to set up games or activities. A beautif
First review was much too pessimistic. It's a good place, with friendly people, and relatively low annual cost. For those who wish to relax at their campfire or enjoy looking at the lake or fishing, it's great. Right now there are not a lot of facilities, for example, no pool, and no proper area for children's activities. The lake is not good for swimming because of the weeds. However, there is now a small beach near the restaurant, which is being maintained by the workers together with volunteer residents. This beach is good for small children, but older children going into the deeper water will run into weeds. The Puslinch Lake Resident's committee has been spending a lot of money trying to deal with the waterweed problem, which is improving.. There is lots of waterskiing and fishing happening We have been there nine years, and we love being there and gradually improving our own little place. Most residents have an "add-on" atttached to their trailer, as we do. Come check it out.
I think a couple of things were overexaggerated on a couple items for this trailer park in the other review. The park is not that wild and nutty, it's actually quite peaceful at nighttime now, most of the riffraff have been kicked out. There are BBQ/dance get togethers with the entire park a few times/year so you can get to know others that are out in the area. The park is what you make of it. I agree with the lack of a playground for kids to play in, that could definately be upgraded. But it's a good place for anyone if you want to get away but don't want to pay the expensive gas prices and cottage fees up north. The water is weedy, but thats good for bass fishing, so don't bring a deep boat or overly huge motor, simple as that. The people in the park are great, there are some that have been there for many many years and are very easygoing, you'll make new friends in no time! Jeff can be difficult to deal with so i've heard, but i've never had a problem with him or his wife. They've been good with us and some others in the park, so I think it really depends on how you treat them and their property.
nothing ever fixed, owner never wanted to be bothered and got irate when he was.nice restaurant on site but no beach, no swimming,no play area for kids,no stores close by or on site. very loud at night with partying and drinking. no place for family to relax or enjoy.poor upkeep. avoid at all costs, this park is the worst i have been at or seen or treated in 20yrs. of camping. puslinch lake that it is on is also best known for its weeds and multiple yearly drownings
