I live in Camlachie and having Desena's hardware in our area has been a godsend! It is always great to stop in and be greeted with a friendly smile from Sandra, Linda and the crew! Also...there aren't many gas stations that still pump your gas....love that! Today I needed a scientific calculator.....and surprise surprise....Sandra had one! Highly recommend this hardware store for all your household/yard needs!

We are from out of town and were in the store looking to purchase some ice and a hotdog poker for the fire. Myself, my wife and 2 sons went into the store and were met by a lady asking if she could help us (in a short, unhappy tone). We said that we were just browsing and began looking around. As we were looking at the camping stuff, my son picked up something to look at, and the lady working commented that "the packaging is there for a reason you know" (very rudely) to my 8 year old son. My wife and i were taken aback by this rudeness, and decided that we would spend our money elsewhere. When we got to the car, our son told us that the lady had also spoken to him in a rude manner while he was looking at some toys. This occurred on July 11, 2015. I don't often take the time to write reviews, but i was so disgusted at the rudeness of this employee that i feel it necessary. Needless to say we made our purchases elsewhere and will never step foot in this store again (if we are in the area)
