Overall good taste and good quality food. We order from there every month or so. We even ordered for an office function. Everyone at the office liked it.
Not a gourmet restaurant but very good casual or family place.
First let me start by stating I am a very picky eater (both in terms of flavour and texture as I dont like bones in my food.)
The location is good as its only a few blocks from my house so i decided to take my kids there for a b-day Buffet.
Food was fantastic, very tender, and flavorful and a decent selection of veg and non-veg.
I found the staff very friendly and the service was perfect considering I ordered the buffet.
I've had Indian down in "little India" in Toronto a few times and found this place better.
Would diffidently go again.
I'm very picky with my Indian food. The buffet is not great, but everything else is perfect. Nan is awesome, all their
curry dishes are fantastic and the service is good too
I go often and every time I am satisfied. Samosas are to die for. Butter Chicken & Shrimp Vindaloo are soooo yummy. I haven't been able to get past those and try something different. I often hear good things about the naan bread from other patrons but I really like their basmati. The people there are so nice and they always great me with a smile.
This is the second time we have treated ourselves to the Bombay Grill. First time was eat in. I wasn't convinced you could find decent Indian outside of the big city but WOW was I wrong. It was delish! We had the dinner for two and were wowed by the freshness and flavour. NOT expensive at all. Dinner and two Indian beers apiece was only about $65.00. The second time we decided to do takeout. Despite that we didn't get to eat till one half hour later it was still hot and fantastic. Even the naan was still great! There was so much food that there was enough for a lunch the next day. The decor is a smidge on the tacky eighties side, too much dusty rose pink and wallpaper borders. The servers are not overly charming but overall all I can say is "Dear Bombay Grill, please, please, please keep cooking the way you do. You make my tummy very happy!!!"
