Do not use this company! They said they would replace our oil tank which they knew we needed done for our home to sell. After looking at what needed to be done they cancelled on us the day they were supposed to do the work. They made many excuses as to why they couldn’t do it. We checked with numerous other companies who said their reasons for cancelling the job were ridiculous and that they often cancel on jobs once they realize they are more difficult and take an easier job instead. Avoid!!

Great service with knowledgable staff

I had been looking around Halifax/Dartmouth for a while trying to find a replacement for my oil tank. I had a few questions and most of the places I called could not answer my questions. I called Value Sales and all of my questions were answered. They explained to me the different gauges in oil tanks, and how one is better than the other and why. They explained their process of pumping the old oil out of the old oil tank, filtering it 3 times before putting it back in to the new tank. That was a year ago. More recently, our old furnace was acting up. I placed a call to a furnace place and they told me it sounded like I needed a new furnace. My wife remembered Value Sales. We called Value Sales and discussed the symptoms. The guy thought it was a problem with the nozzle that squirts the oil into the furnace. He said he had a replacement nozzle. After it was installed there were no further issues with our furnace. This saved me thousands of dollars and I felt it was worth mentioning in a review the outstanding service we received from Value Sales Ltd. Their pricing was very reasonable, but the thing I really liked about Value Sales is the staff have solid knowledge about furnaces and oil tanks and they are honest. It is definitely worth mentioning. Calling some place where they have so much knowledge is worth a lot.
