We have been patients at Transcona Optical for nearly 10 years. I have only ever had fantastic interactions with all of the staff. Dr. Boroditsky is our doctor, whom we love, but we have also seen Dr. Fiorentino who was equally as kind and knowledgable. The optical staff are helpful but not pushy. Don't bother going elsewhere-their glasses are well priced and the service is fantastic! We have referred three different families to Transcona Optical and all three are very happy there as well!

Excellent Service, Excellent Quality, Love it!

I love this place!!! The staff and doctors are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and very friendly! I've never been disappointed with them at all! It's also nice that they're open over their lunch hour to help out with any adjustments that I need and they provide above exceptional service and if I've had to wait at all, that's ok with me because I rather see a business be busy and spend the quality time that they need to with the patient that they're helping instead of rushing them out the door like other places do. Overall, EXCELLENT!!!

poor service 3 times, wrong lenses & faulty frames

The wait times at this dispensary is atrocious especially at lunch time or the end of the day, they have very limited staff on. Mistakes were made on both mine and my son's lenses. My son's glasses took 3 wks + to finally come in. My most recent glasses from there had a chip in the frame when they came in. On three seperate occassions we waiting increasingly long times for service from 20 min, to 30 min to 40 min (the last time we were just wanting to pick up my son's glasses and he was on his lunch break from school). THIS place is friendly and helpful when you are buying BUT once you have bought the service just goes downhill. They will not be seeing our family of 4 glasses wearers again. Oh, and they charge the highest eye examine fees.
