TERRIBLE SERVICEasked the owner if he could fix my bag for me and the first day i walked in he said 30$ and that was fair considering it had three big rips in it. so i come back with my bag the next day and now he changes it to 60$.after waiting for 3 weeks to fix acouple rips in my bag i get it back and only ONE out of THREE rips are fixed. i would not recommend cobblers corner to anyone. he was very rude and disrespectful probably the worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life
I will never go back, terrible service, was lied too, and he tried to under refund me when I wanted my money back. (story below)
Was told it would take a week to repair my boots and when I came back in a week I was told he was really busy and guaranteed they would be done in a couple days. I was given guarantee after guarantee that they would be done by "insert day here" and when that day came they never were. We are VERY pleased with the work done! The zippers were replaced on a pair of boots - favorite boots purchased in Europe. They are now good for many more kilometres!! Thank you!
I had a similar experience. After about a month, my boots were also ruined. The owner did not apologize to me either! Bad service and bad repairs overall.
I brought my new $200 boots to Cobbler's Corner Winnipeg Square for a very minor calf job. After a MONTH of waiting, the boots were sewn too tight and no longer fit. Their solution was a poor sewing job with extra elastic and stretching them on the machine. RUINED!!! The owner did not budge on the price and was unapologetic. So $300 WASTED. AVOID COBBLER'S CORNER. There are 2-3 other cobblers in the concourse.
