Worst ever. Waitress was very rude, gave my boyfriend and I one fork and a knife at the table for the two of us to share? When we asked for another set of cutlery she acted like we were overreacting. My “vermicelli salad bowl” was lettuce drenched in salad dressing with dried noodles on top like croutons. My boyfriend’s salad and soup looked looked like it was made by a child.Not to mention the place was empty and we were stuck in a tiny corner and were not able to switch seats. Go somwhere else

Terrible Service from the Owner "John"!

I recently discovered the great Terrain at Silver Star. Both times I went I went into Long Johns Pub for lunch. The last time in waited for 5 minutes to be seated while being ignored by the girls working there. All the while looking at an entire bar of empty seats along with two empty tables. After a few more minutes of standing in the way at the entrance and being passed by other patrons who were taking empty spots at the bar I made my way to an empty table and sat down and ordered drinks and lunch. After 15 minutes several other tables in our section had cleared and my buddy and I wanted to switch tables before the food came to allow us to face the TV. I asked my server to help and we moved our drinks and sat down. "John" the owner, rushed over and rudely said we could not move tables. I looked around at two empty tables and asked why. He accused me of not waiting to be seated even though i had waited and there was no talking him out of his anger. Apparently "he seats everyone" but was doing a bad job. I couldnt believe that this guy was being so rude to a customer for making a simple table move while there were so many empty tables so I asked for the manager. My server informed me that this guy was the owner... Needless to say I will not be visiting this busniness again. The next week a friend I had told about this incident called me to tell me she had a run in with the grumpy owner as well. She had ordered fries with her meal and they brought soup. When she asked for her fries the server muttered something about "now they have to throw out the soup" and went away to get the fries. Back came John the owner and he threw the fries down on their table and stormed off. My friend was startled by the actions and couldnt believe she was treated like that for politely correcting their mistake. She is also going to avoid that place in the future.

Best pub at Silver Star

Have been eating and drinking here for the last 8 years during our two month stay at Silver Star. Great food, excellent service. John & John really make you feel welcome. Great soups, ribs, burgers, novel lasagna....love it.
