Adam Mustafa started cutting hair in 1986 after searching for the right career path. “I tried different jobs when I was young,” Adam says, “but the only thing really interesting was in the old school barbershop I started working at.” Originally from Syria, Adam moved to Canada in 2007 with his wife because they wanted to raise their children here. “My wife is Canadian and we met while we were travelling,” Adam says. “Things went from there, and when we started talking about children we agreed to raise them in Canada.”
Adam opened shop in Vancouver, where they first arrived in Canada. “Alberta was more appealing, so we moved here in 2010,” Adam says. “From there, I worked at a hair salon to save money and build a client base, and when I was ready I found and opened Adam’s Barber Shop.”
This shop was nice when it opened but the owner seems to have a lack of cleaning and organizing skills. Place is becoming like his house with dishes and food all over the place. Garbage on counters and dust everywhere. I have been a long time client but will be moving on if conditions don't improve
