Before opening Studio J Urban Spa, Jillian Kaliel had visited many spa facilities. She always enjoyed the relaxing experience, but she felt that something was missing.
Jillian began her entrepreneurial career in the industry by doing spa treatments in her home. But the more spas she visited, the more she realized she could do something different. “I really wanted to open a place that I would want to visit,” says Jillian. “I thought that there was something unique that I could provide in terms of atmosphere, feel, energy and space. The opportunity came up at a perfect location downtown, right in the heart of the city.”
